Once a year, Pantone showcases its latest products and innovations in what it calls an Inspirations catalog. In years past, it was simply a gridded collection of products and swatches, along with brief descriptions of each. We convinced the brand to shift its focus from the products alone to the emotional connection designers have to them.
Layouts were designed to resemble historic artistic movements to remind readers of that truly great art can start in simple ways. Colors can be inspiring, and we set out to show how they bring creative visions to life.
Pantone was so excited about the catalog's attitude and personality that they asked us to revamp all the product descriptions to match the tone.
