Starting in 2010, we set out to reward the loyal Newcastle drinkers who are just as distinctive the beer itself. We kept each promotion basic and unpretentious in order to connect with the brand's educated and skeptical consumers. The engagements were simple and straightforward, and allowed its drinkers to express their creativity without having to jump through hoops.

This platform lived through 2012, became an ongoing store, and continued to reward Newcastle's devoted following for years.
YOUR BEER. YOUR SHIRT.
The idea was simple - consumers go online to redeem a discounted Newcastle t-shirt, which they could then customize with their own witticisms.
Newcastle set a modest limit of 500 redemptions. This goal was met after two days, and more shirts and redemption codes were quickly stocked. In the end, over 3,600 discounted t-shirts were ordered and another 500 were purchased at full price.

Reception for the shirt promotion was overwhelmingly positive, so we evolved and expanded it. We've turned it into an ongoing store where fans order customized apparel and branded items for creating an at-home pub.
